Let's Get it started! eBay a place to sell to sell you stuff... And I'll use stuff because you can sell just about anything, the biggest well advtises and a history that has been built for the last 16 years, things have change some since I joined 5 years ago to sell items online. It is what sets market values. Having working in a pawn shop a year we would look on eBay to see what people are willing to pay for that item at that moment. So things I have sold set a new standard for the item raising its "value" because it sold for 50$ more than any had before so people will value that item at the higher rate I set. eBay is a vert trendy place, if you get on and follow the trends and can sel items related it help sales out, let's have an example. Right now the NCAA march madness is going on, uk vs ufoL people are going crazy down here in Kentucky now if I had the resources I would have shirts made to sell and have NCAA items selling all during this time supporting there teams. Things happen all year long with holidays and events so learning reading seeing what the trends and styles are, will help you to know what to sell. Do some reading and study to help keep up n the times.
If you need help starting and selling on eBay, sign up and there are some help pages to show how and I can share advise. Just starting out you will have some limits and locks till you learn and gain some reputation to get limits to be removed. So sign up ASAP and sell a few dollar items to get started will help you get a feel for what's going on. The Beginning - Internet Business
Is it possible to live and work at home and make money to live? Well Yes. The last 3 months i have quit my day time job and started to sell online. A few sources i have used is eBay and Craigslist. There are good and bad for each but if you use them together you have a great start to get things going!
There are some great articles out there to help get you idea on what to do on the Internet. Sparkplugging.com is a great site i found had some great ideas. The Article is the top 10 things to do to start an online Business. The one that pertains to me is

That last 3 month I have learned a lot about history, the Internet, and the best ways to sell online. I will only keep learning and getting better but there are a few things i have learn on eBay that will help out any one.
Here are 5 Tips From I Biz Weekly for selling and making more money at it!
1 You have 80 letter to fill to describe you item USE THEM ALL! Take a little time and write down and go look on eBay under completed listing to see what sold for the most and see how they described it.
2 Pictures you must edit them! Make them brighter and crop the pictures!
3 More pictures the better it sells. Would you buy used thing from eBay with out looking at it? No you have 12 pictures use them all if you can but minimum 5-8 pictures the more the better people will feel safe about bidding.
4 Don't scare people with shipping, Free Shipping will bring more money, i don't know how but it will bring at least the extra bit to ship, or even more. You wanted to get 40 out of it it sold for 57 and it only cost 10 to ship you made another 7 dollars, just an example.
5 Set your listing to end in the evening and weekends. Its the time people are on the more people able to get to a computer and in a shopping mode the more money and bids you will get.
